About the Role

IMDA is driving Singapore’s ambition to become a global leader in the digital economy, helping businesses and the workforce use digital technologies to stay competitive and future-ready. This role sits within the Business and Ecosystems Division and focuses on creating mutually beneficial partnership opportunities that accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies across industry.

The portfolio includes areas such as artificial intelligence, advanced communications, trust technologies, green computing, and quantum technologies. The role calls for someone who can think clearly, solve problems creatively, and contribute to initiatives that bring new technologies into real-world enterprise use.

Candidates with experience in digital transformation efforts or in rolling out emerging technologies for organisations will have an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams across different disciplines to help organisations adopt emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with important stakeholders such as technology partners, end users, and research collaborators.
• Promote products, solutions, and related technologies to prospective users and customers.
• Support efforts to commercialise emerging technologies developed through industry and academic partnerships.
• Contribute to related initiatives that help new technologies gain traction, including shaping new business models and connecting relevant ecosystem partners.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in areas such as management consulting, technology consulting, digital innovation, project management, or strategic planning.
• Background in managing partnerships at an ecosystem level, along with project and vendor coordination experience.
• Ability to clearly explain how emerging technologies can support enterprise transformation.
• Strong focus on outcomes and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
• Capability to work independently and handle several projects at the same time.
• Strong analytical thinking and a creative approach to solving problems.

This opportunity is based in Singapore and is a full-time, on-site position.
