Role overview
We are recruiting for a client, Apna Jobs, for a Business Development Executive position. This is an enterprise sales role focused on B2B growth, where you will work independently to manage the complete sales journey from lead generation to deal closure. The position is based in Hyderabad or Bangalore and is suited to someone who is comfortable handling high-value corporate accounts and speaking with senior decision-makers at the CXO level.
The role offers strong ownership, exposure to large-ticket sales, and the opportunity to contribute directly to the expansion of a fast-growing hiring platform.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and sell online enterprise recruitment solutions to corporate clients by understanding their hiring needs, presenting the right value proposition, and closing business.
- Achieve revenue and acquisition goals by bringing in new customers and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
- Develop sales opportunities through referrals, social media outreach, telephone-based prospecting, and area mapping.
- Handle commercial discussions, negotiate terms, finalize pricing, and ensure all deal paperwork is completed accurately.
- Represent the company’s wider product suite and act as a strong advocate for the brand in the market.
Experience and skill expectations
- At least 4 years of experience managing large accounts, with HRTech experience preferred.
- Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Strong business understanding and negotiation capability for high-value deals.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a minimum of two languages.
- Experience handling the full sales cycle, from lead creation through to closure.
Mandatory requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on B2B field sales experience is required.
- A two-wheeler is mandatory along with a valid driving licence and RC book.
- A laptop, tablet, or pad is required for the role.
- Strong command over the local regional language and familiarity with the local market are necessary.
