Biologist

Role overview

This contract opportunity is for biologists who will support an AI training initiative by reviewing model-generated answers and improving the quality of biological reasoning. Your work will help ensure that responses are scientifically accurate, clearly written, and logically structured.

What you will do

• Review AI-produced answers for correctness, clarity, and alignment with the original prompt.
• Check the reasoning process step by step and spot mistakes in logic, method, or biological understanding.
• Verify biological facts using reliable public sources.
• Write strong biology explanations and sample solutions that demonstrate the right approach.
• Compare multiple AI outputs and rate them based on scientific accuracy and reasoning quality.
• Create detailed prompts on different biology topics and craft responses that support AI learning.
• Assess and rank model outputs to improve fluency, relevance, and overall performance.
• Test models for inaccuracies and bias so they can perform reliably across different use cases.

Profile we are looking for

• You have an MS or PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Physiology, or a closely related life-science discipline from a top 100 university.
• You are confident in human biology, animal biology, molecular pathways, physiology, disease and health basics, and laboratory or experimental reasoning.
• You have experience creating or carefully reviewing advanced biology content such as problem sets, proofs, textbook material, or research notes.
• You are skilled at fact-checking through public sources across multiple domains.
• You have published in a peer-reviewed journal.
• You can explain biology clearly and translate advanced concepts into practical, understandable solutions.
• You have English proficiency at C1 level or higher and strong writing ability.
• Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or AI model evaluation is a plus.
