Graduate program details
The S3 Program is built to develop future talent through a mix of formal training, hands-on learning, and clear performance milestones. During the initial three-month academy experience in the United States, participants build foundational knowledge of the storage industry, NetApp, and its products and solutions, while also strengthening transferable professional skills.
Participants will train alongside other graduates from around the world before transitioning back to Ireland to continue their development in a real sales environment.
What the role involves
In this inside sales position, you will contribute to customer acquisition and revenue growth by engaging prospects and existing customers through inbound and outbound outreach. The work is focused on understanding business needs, qualifying opportunities, and positioning NetApp’s hybrid cloud and data solutions to match customer challenges.
You will work closely with channel, marketing, sales, and technical teams to create opportunities, build your own pipeline, and support a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities
- Use phone, email, and digital channels to drive customer acquisition and cross-sell opportunities.
- Run both inbound and outbound prospecting to build a qualified pipeline and identify opportunities.
- Assess customer requirements and present NetApp’s value across multiple business use cases.
- Partner with channel teams to develop and deliver proposals.
- Create new business opportunities through cold outreach, targeted campaigns, and social selling.
- Support marketing activities such as events, webinars, and lead-generation efforts.
- Keep CRM records current with accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity data.
- Coordinate with sales, technical, and channel stakeholders to deliver a smooth customer experience.
Requirements
- You should be a recent graduate or early-career professional with up to 2 years of experience gained through internships, part-time roles, university projects, or early job experience.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills are needed to build trust and influence customers and stakeholders.
- Interest in technology sales, business development, and pipeline creation in a B2B setting is important.
- Exposure to cloud, AI, storage, or related technologies through study or practical experience is considered an advantage.
- You should be self-driven, well organized, and able to manage several priorities in a busy environment.
- Comfort with CRM platforms, sales prospecting tools, and other business technologies is required.
- Fluency in English plus one additional language from Danish, French, German, or Swedish is required.
- You must be able to work effectively in an international and collaborative environment.
