About the Role
This position sits within the agency distribution side of life insurance sales, where advisors and agents help customers choose suitable protection and savings solutions. The role is designed to strengthen customer experience in markets where direct human guidance matters, while also supporting service queries, renewal collection, and cross-sell opportunities.
What You Will Do
- Recruit and build a strong network of agents, including maintaining an active pipeline for future hiring.
- Use different sourcing channels to increase agent footfall and generate referrals for new recruitment.
- Run career seminars for prospects and follow the required hiring process and other recruitment norms.
- Develop agents through training, field demonstrations, and product learning sessions.
- Build productive habits in agents around prospecting, calling, and day-to-day work discipline.
- Plan activities with agents, review progress, and help them stay aligned to goals.
- Identify learning gaps in agents and coordinate with trainers to close those gaps.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and yearly business targets.
- Improve agent productivity and persistence through regular PRP, IID, GID, and related processes.
- Maintain the required product mix and follow business guidelines and norms.
- Keep agents active and aligned to the planned business strategy.
- Represent the brand positively and act as a customer-focused point of contact.
- Follow sales practices that build long-term customer loyalty.
- Conduct periodic customer meetings to understand customer needs and feedback.
- Ensure customer queries are resolved properly and within expected standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should come from a sales background and have at least 2 years of experience, with a minimum of 6 months in the most recent role. Candidates should be between 24 and 35 years of age, currently employed in BFSI or another structured company, have no more than 2 job changes in a year, and must have been based in the city for at least 1 year. Any graduate can apply.
Success Measures
Performance will be evaluated through business plan achievement, GPA, agent recruitment and activation, active agent count for the month to date, persistency against the grid, and the number of EC/MDRT agents developed.
