Assistant Manager - RMS

Role summary

This position is focused on monitoring client positions, tracking account shortfalls and debits across regions, following up on mark-to-market losses, and supporting branches with risk management process controls for trading activity.

What the role involves

• Support branches and business partners by applying client limits in line with the defined RMS process.
• Route any non-standard case to the team leader for approval based on the approved matrix.
• Track debtors that arise for different reasons and keep follow-ups active until closure.
• Notify the concerned branch or business partner whenever a client account shows a shortfall.
• Escalate any request for process modification from branches to the RMS head, especially when the change can improve business outcomes without weakening risk controls.
• Keep branch and business partner teams updated on changes in products and processes.
• Respond to branch and partner queries or complaints within a timely manner.
• Help ensure strategic initiatives, process updates, system enhancements, and manual BOD file uploads are completed smoothly and without errors.
• Carry out technical and functional support for internet clients during trading hours, and support a customer care setup for issue resolution.
• Prepare margin risk reports and daily exposure reports for normal funding and margin trading funding cases.
• Generate daily and weekly debtor reports, including incremental cases.
• Compile daily reports for exceptional exposure and share them with the relevant business team for audit purposes.
• Prepare daily top-exposure reports by client and underlying security.
• Create dashboards showing top buying and selling clients at end of day to assess credit risk and concentration risk.
• Close client issues and complaints raised through the CRM tool, and assist branches with the process.
• Take on pre-order consent checking responsibilities for selected samples to support the goal of full compliance.
