Role overview

In this position, you will be responsible for managing warehouse activity so that products are delivered safely and reliably to customers. The role requires strict adherence to Baker Hughes procedures, strong attention to warehouse housekeeping and storage standards, and close coordination with logistics and service delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations with a focus on safe handling and dependable customer deliveries.
• Manage work in line with Baker Hughes standard operating procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping, storage discipline, and overall warehouse orderliness.
• Prepare and review high-value customer material lists for long-term contracts.
• Examine customer proposal requirements and identify critical materials for each customer.
• Compare critical material requirements with available inventory and prepare a critical material and customer segregation report.
• Share the report with the project team and review it for accuracy.
• Coordinate material planning and segregation for project jobs.
• Raise goods receipts for received materials.
• Assess the report against inventory levels and warehouse capacity.
• Work with the Logistics Coordinator and Service Delivery Coordinators for the relevant product lines to confirm requirements.
• Identify any capacity constraints and adjust material quantities when needed, after consultation with the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the Inventory Coordinator communicates any changes to the area.
• Help determine whether stocking levels need to be changed, with input from the Logistics Coordinator.
• Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator to execute the original or revised plan.
• Meet company HSE expectations, including the application of the five fundamentals of a perfect HSE day.

Experience and skills needed

The role calls for someone with practical warehouse or logistics experience, strong problem-solving ability, and the confidence to work well with others. Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office are also important.
