Vulnerability Management Engineer - AI Trainer

About the Role

This role is for seasoned cybersecurity specialists who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely and choosing their own hours. The work focuses on checking whether AI-generated security output is practically sound and useful in real-world environments.

As part of the team, you will collaborate with modern AI models on assignments such as reviewing security-focused content, tackling technical cyber challenges, and sharing feedback that helps refine how these systems understand threats and defensive practices. Some contributors do this alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main work.

How the Process Works

After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be unlocked on the platform.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-produced cybersecurity material, including threat analysis, vulnerability evaluations, and offensive security methods, to judge whether it is accurate and realistic.
• Create and solve technical security tasks that are used to improve AI training.
• Produce concise technical explanations and write security-related code when needed.
• Share input that helps shape the next generation of AI security tools.

Compensation and Engagement

• Projects are paid by the hour, with starting rates from $50 to $100+ per hour, and some tasks may include bonus pay.
• You can decide which projects to accept and when to work on them.
• The position is remote, so you can work on your own computer from home.
• This is an independent contractor arrangement.
• Payment is sent through PayPal.
• You will never be asked to pay any money to participate.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open only to applicants based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of practical cybersecurity experience in areas such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or similar work, including government or military cyber operations.
• Basic coding ability and enough comfort to navigate and modify an existing codebase.
• Strong written English skills and fluency at a native or bilingual level.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or equivalent credentials are a plus.
