As the company expands its government procurement division, it is building out the GeM operations team to support larger project opportunities.

Role Overview

The organization is seeking focused, detail-driven GeM Tender Specialists who can independently handle the full tendering lifecycle on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The position plays a key part in growing the government business, managing bids, and participating successfully in high-value opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will manage GeM portal activity from end to end, including finding, reviewing, and monitoring suitable tenders. The role also involves preparing and filing competitive bids within prescribed timelines, updating product catalogues and pricing, checking that all tender documents meet requirements, and coordinating with technical and commercial teams inside the organization.

In addition, the person will track bid progress, clarify queries, support the post-bid process, maintain organized reports on tender performance and results, and assist with contract execution and order processing.

Candidate Profile

The company is looking for someone with practical experience in GeM portal operations, a solid grasp of government procurement and tendering procedures, and strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and documentation workflows. The role also calls for analytical ability to assess eligibility and bid conditions, the capability to manage several tenders at once under tight deadlines, and a high level of accuracy in documentation.

Good communication and coordination skills are important, and experience in IT, networking, CCTV, AV, or PA systems will be considered a strong plus.
