Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Tech / Broker Governance / Post-Entry Support professional to help manage trade compliance and customs-related operations. The role is focused on maintaining accurate customs filings, supporting broker oversight, and handling post-entry corrections so cross-border movements remain compliant and efficient.

This position sits within Supply Chain Deliver, under Transportation Services, and is based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. The role may also be available in Ringaskiddy, Ireland. It supports both internal teams and external customs brokers to strengthen governance, audit preparedness, and overall trade process quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with customs broker governance by ensuring agreed standards, controls, and operating processes are followed.
• Handle post-entry work such as corrections, reconciliations, and amendments to customs declarations.
• Review customs entry information to confirm it is complete, accurate, and aligned with trade regulations.
• Work with trade compliance, logistics, and transportation teams to resolve issues linked to customs entries.
• Support audits, reviews, and regulatory requests connected to customs and international trade activity.
• Keep records, documentation, and reporting up to date to support internal controls and audit readiness.
• Monitor performance measures and patterns related to broker quality, post-entry actions, and compliance.
• Take part in process improvement efforts that enhance trade compliance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, Logistics, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Additional education or training in customs, trade compliance, or international logistics is preferred.
• Between 2 and 4 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, logistics, or a similar field.
• Practical understanding of customs processes, broker coordination, and post-entry requirements.
• Experience assisting with audits, reconciliations, or regulatory reviews.
• High attention to detail and strong documentation accuracy.
• Ability to analyse data and spot compliance risks or emerging trends.
• Background in a regulated sector such as medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences is an advantage.
• Familiarity with UK, EU, or global customs and trade regulations is preferred.
• Experience working with customs brokers or freight forwarders is preferred.
• Exposure to ERP systems, trade compliance platforms, or customs management tools is preferred.
• Experience contributing to continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills are preferred.
• Comfort working collaboratively in a cross-functional, global environment.
• English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Up to 10% travel, mainly within Europe, may be required.
• Customs, trade compliance, or supply chain certifications are preferred.
