ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
Job purpose
This role supports the effective running and delivery of Supply Operations Division activities. It covers demand planning, enterprise risk management, HSSE compliance, internal and external audits, ISO certification, business continuity, contract management, fleet oversight, OPEX and CAPEX budgeting and monitoring, staff training, and performance tracking for the division.
Key responsibilities
Supply operations planning
- Coordinate weekly, monthly, and quarterly product demand forecasts using sales estimates from Sales, Marketing, and Aviation Division, along with existing inventory levels at ADNOC Distribution terminals.
- Prepare the Supply Operations OPEX budget by combining operating budgets from terminals and locations, monitoring actual spending against approved budget, revising forecasts when needed, and supporting budget negotiations to keep costs within allocation.
- Prepare the CAPEX budget for Supply Operations Division and track project progress and related spending for expansions, major changes, terminals, depots, and other facilities.
Quality assurance, policy, and process
- Lead ISO and quality audit processes across the Supply Operations Division and work with terminal managers and team leaders to meet ISO requirements, documentation needs, and audit compliance.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and SOPs are reviewed and updated whenever required.
- Monitor closure of actions arising from internal and external audits and ensure timely compliance.
Contract management
- Develop RFPs and RFQs for contracts linked to Supply Operations Division, assess contractor capability against ADNOC Distribution requirements, and support the final vendor selection process to secure cost-effective, quality services.
- Keep Supply Operations contracts current and review contractor performance throughout the contract period.
Fleet monitoring and management
- Prepare reports on ADNOC and third-party vehicle usage, trip counts, breakdowns, and unplanned stoppages, and process contractor invoices, monthly haulage statements, and deductions accordingly.
- Track third-party and leased fleet performance through the vehicle management system, including safety violations, utilization, breakdowns, and accidents, to ensure fuel transport from depots to stations and customer locations remains safe and efficient.
- Oversee registration of new vehicles and fleets, and arrange gate passes for drivers at ADNOC Distribution locations.
Staff training and development
- Plan and deliver training for Supply Operations staff, including drivers, operators, and new joiners, on processes, procedures, regulations, safe operation, and fuel-handling practices.
Performance monitoring
- Support the VP Supply Operations in defining, updating, and aligning division KPIs and BSCs with corporate and division strategies and goals.
- Lead periodic reviews of KPI and BSC progress to ensure targets remain realistic and on track.
- Submit periodic performance reports with statistical analysis, improvement actions, benchmarking, and recommendations for better supply operations performance.
- Support initiatives to reduce operating costs by improving stock loss control, inventory levels, and related operational efficiencies.
- Prepare division performance reports for ELT, Finance, HSE, Energy Management, and other corporate initiatives, and develop additional analysis or reports as required by the VP Supply Operations.
Other duties
- Support EPD with scope development, contractor technical evaluation, and progress follow-up on major projects in Supply Operations.
- Prepare business cases for projects for submission to the Investment Committee through the VP-SOD.
- Carry out any other related responsibilities assigned by the VP Supply Operations.
Qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in Supply Operations within the Oil and Gas industry, with 3 to 4 years in a managerial position.
- Strong understanding of terminal operations, contract management, performance management, and financial principles.
- Project management capability is required.
