Store Supervisor

Role overview

Gino's Gelato is looking for a Supervisor to join its Killarney store team. The business is a nationwide gelato chain that is growing steadily, and it is seeking a people-oriented person who can support day-to-day store operations while creating a positive customer experience.

What the role involves

• Interact with customers proactively and work to consistently exceed expectations.
• Encourage the team to engage with shoppers, suggest additional products, and promote offers.
• Organise staff rotas, oversee stock control, handle cash, and manage store opening and closing duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Train team members, recognise good performance, and support ongoing performance management.
• Support and execute marketing activities that help drive store sales.
• Make sure company procedures are followed at all times, with particular focus on HACCP and food safety standards.

Candidate profile

The ideal person will enjoy dealing with customers, be confident leading a team, and have prior experience in a similar role. Local candidates are preferred. The company is also looking for someone who can work flexibly across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, and weekends.

Working arrangement

This is a full-time, onsite position. The role is described as 30 hours per week.

Compensation

The advertised pay is €14.50 per hour, with a competitive overall remuneration package offered to the right candidate.
