Site Engineer - Civil

Role Overview

ALFIRAS General Contracting is looking to add a Civil Site Engineer to its Abu Dhabi team. This role suits someone with solid UAE construction-sector experience who can take charge of site execution, coordinate day-to-day works, and help deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality level.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee everyday construction activity at the site.
• Carry out work in line with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and the on-site team.
• Track progress on site and support timely project completion.
• Maintain compliance with QA/QC requirements and HSE rules.
• Address and resolve technical site issues quickly and effectively.
• Use labor, materials, and equipment in an efficient manner.
• Compile daily site progress reports and support project documentation work.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of UAE experience in construction or contracting firms.
• Practical knowledge of civil and structural execution works.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Understanding of construction methods, QA/QC practices, and HSE standards.
