Role Overview
This is a permanent, on-site Site Clerk / Site Administrator position based in Dublin 13, County Dublin. The salary range is €35,000 to €45,000, depending on experience.
You will oversee the administrative side of an active construction site, ensuring the paperwork and records needed for site operations are handled accurately and on time. The role covers site diaries, drawings, timesheets, deliveries, plant hire, and safety documentation. In this position, you act as the main point of contact for site records and information.
In many construction settings, these duties are divided between a document controller and a timekeeper. Here, those responsibilities are combined into one role, with the opportunity to take on some junior quantity surveying support duties as you develop.
Key Work Areas
- Maintain the site diary and keep day-to-day site records up to date.
- Manage drawing control and ensure the correct documents are circulating on site.
- Handle timesheets, delivery records, and related admin tasks.
- Coordinate plant hire administration and site safety files.
- Support subcontractor documentation and general site administration.
- Serve as the primary contact for site records, site manager updates, and QS-related admin support.
What You Should Bring
The employer is looking for someone with previous hands-on experience in a site clerk, document controller, or timekeeper position. You should be comfortable dealing with a high volume of paperwork, especially in busy or pressure-filled situations where accuracy and responsiveness matter most.
An organised and methodical approach is essential, along with the ability to work independently. Experience with plant hire administration and subcontractor paperwork will be an added advantage.
Growth Opportunity
This position offers greater responsibility and visibility than a typical document control role because you will be the sole owner of site records rather than part of a larger admin team. It also provides a potential pathway into junior QS support work as you gain experience.
Application Note
Interested candidates may apply directly or contact the hiring team by email.
