About the company
Integrated Group Services (IGS) is a specialist engineering consultancy known for delivering high-quality service, practical innovation, advanced design solutions, and expert advice. The company provides multidisciplinary building services across electrical, mechanical, fire, hydraulic, lift, and ESD disciplines, and is contributing to some of Australia’s largest and most prominent projects.
After a strong first year operating in Queensland, the business has built strong momentum and continues to grow. To support that expansion, IGS QLD is adding experienced Senior Engineers to its team of more than 20 people.
Open roles
The business is recruiting for multiple senior engineering positions, including:
- Senior / Associate Mechanical Engineer
- Senior Hydraulic Engineer
- Senior / Associate Fire Protection Engineer
Role overview
These positions are important to the continued growth of the Queensland business unit and offer the chance to help strengthen the organisation’s technical capability, project delivery capacity, and multidisciplinary service offering.
What you will be doing
- Contributing to the design and delivery of building services projects across mechanical, hydraulic, or fire protection disciplines.
- Applying Australian design standards, the National Construction Code, and relevant engineering software in day-to-day work.
- Supporting and delivering multi-discipline projects from concept through completion.
- Using strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Helping expand the team’s capability within a growing Brisbane office.
Role-specific experience and qualifications
- For Mechanical Engineer roles: at least 5 to 10 years of local or Australian design experience, strong building services knowledge, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code, and mechanical engineering software.
- For Hydraulic Engineer roles: at least 5 years of local or Australian design experience, strong building services knowledge, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code, and hydraulic design software.
- For Fire Protection Engineer roles: at least 5 years of fire protection services design experience, strong building services knowledge, a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering, and proficiency with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code, and fire protection engineering software.
Common requirements for all roles
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience managing and delivering multi-discipline services projects.
- Current right to work in Australia.
- AutoCAD and Revit experience will be an advantage.
