Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master or Agile Coach to support two development teams. The teams may be based in different countries and work in both German and English. A major part of the role involves organizing and running Scrum events as part of the day-to-day routine.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support two development teams as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, including teams that may be spread across locations and countries.
- Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies on a regular basis.
- Help the teams stay focused on customer value, software quality, and their ability to deliver.
- Spot impediments early, keep track of them, and work toward removing them.
- Support team growth by strengthening trust, encouraging responsibility, and improving conflict-handling skills.
- Approach challenging situations with empathy and directness, and help teams work through disagreements constructively.
- Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and fellow Scrum Masters on team and cross-team topics.
- Model agile values in everyday work and promote self-organization and accountability.
- Contribute new ideas that help improve the team and the wider organization.
Candidate Profile
- Certification as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, paired with hands-on professional experience.
- A third-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience in IT or software development is an advantage.
- Strong commitment to promoting agile values and principles.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the headquarters in Karlsruhe, Germany.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
Work Location
The position is based in Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland. The company operates with a hybrid working approach that combines office and home working, with an emphasis on collaborative development.
