Role overview
This position acts as the main coordination point for the Institutional Sales Team on service-related matters. The role connects the sales team with other internal functions such as customer service and operations, while also supporting channel partners, especially Wealth Counters, so the team can stay focused on core sales activity and strengthen investor relationships.
Key challenges
- Managing support for several channel heads at once may require strong multitasking and can create pressure when client and distributor expectations need to be met within limited time.
- Getting the right information on time may not always be easy.
Key responsibilities
- Share required information and reports with channel partners and the team in a timely manner.
- Occasionally visit key service relationship managers at private banks and wealth counters.
- Maintain a strong coordination flow between the team and distributors.
- Send mailers, forms, fact sheets, brokerage details, and other relevant updates to distributors.
- Keep distributors informed about any changes or new developments related to the AMC.
- Support the development of the internal channel and distributor network.
- Provide structured feedback for new product ideas and service improvements.
- Handle performance updates, analysis, mailing, dispatch activities, and database upkeep.
- Prepare MIS for the entire Karnataka region and share it with the Channel Head and Branch Managers.
- Create business development reports such as RM-wise weekly sales tracker, regional sales MIS, and regional expense tracker.
- Prepare team reports including daily performance and daily inflow/outflow summaries.
- Ensure reports are submitted accurately and within the required timelines.
- Help the team understand individual performance levels through clear reporting.
- Follow compliance and regulatory procedures at all times.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including distributors, RO, HO, and CAMS, on issues such as broker mobilization, payments, investments, redemptions, statement delays, dividend queries, product information, and operational support.
- Maintain effective communication across pre-sales and post-sales activities.
