The Opportunity
Traild is expanding its APAC SDR team and is looking for a motivated outbound Sales Development Representative to help generate pipeline and grow the customer base in the region. This role will focus on identifying and reaching out to potential customers through direct and ERP partner channels, qualifying opportunities, and creating strong handoffs for Account Executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and reach out to target accounts across APAC using outbound prospecting methods.
- Engage prospects through email, phone, and social platforms across both direct and partner-led channels.
- Assess leads and arrange high-quality meetings for the Account Executive team.
- Develop early-stage relationships and communicate Traild’s value in a clear and compelling way.
- Work closely with sales and marketing to improve lead generation efforts.
- Respond to inbound enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Keep CRM records accurate and share regular activity updates.
- Stay informed about market trends, the ERP/AP ecosystem, and updates to Traild’s product.
- Consistently achieve or exceed meeting and demo targets.
- Collaborate across time zones when required, especially during onboarding.
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of experience in sales or an SDR/BDR role, with B2B SaaS, ERP, fintech, or accounts payable experience seen as an advantage.
- Confidence handling cold calls, objections, and fast rapport-building conversations.
- Proven success in meeting or surpassing KPIs and targets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively to stakeholders ranging from AP managers to CFOs.
- Comfort working independently in a remote-first setup.
- A coachable mindset and a willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve.
- A collaborative, adaptable approach suited to a fast-moving scale-up environment.
