Role overview
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Cootamundra, New South Wales. As a Retail Sales Representative, you will support the branch’s retail operations by combining customer service, product knowledge, and logistics support. The position involves handling stock safely, assisting with sales activity, and helping customers identify products and services that suit their needs.
Key duties
- Strengthen client relationships by suggesting Elders products and services that can help grow their business.
- Identify and pursue fresh business opportunities while working toward KPI and sales targets.
- Assist with stock management tasks such as stocktake, receiving goods, and coordinating safe dispatch.
- Handle sales processing and prepare quotations for customers.
- Support the delivery process so retail products reach customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Help with storage, movement, and receipt of stock while following all safety requirements.
About you
You should enjoy working in a team-based environment, value strong customer relationships, and be comfortable contributing to both sales and branch operations. Technical understanding of seasonal and retail products will help you support customers effectively. A background in retail sales and customer service is important, along with the ability to work proactively and build rapport with both existing and potential clients.
Additional requirements and preferences
- A current driver’s licence is required.
- A heavy rigid truck licence is preferred, and support may be provided to obtain one.
- A forklift licence is preferred, and support may be provided to obtain one.
