Project Manager

Role overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading assigned projects from start to finish. This role involves shaping plans, overseeing execution, tracking progress, and keeping each project aligned with approved scope, budget, quality expectations, and delivery timelines. The position also requires working within Salam PMO processes, governance standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Run assigned projects in line with Salam PMO lifecycle practices, methodology, and governance rules.
• Set project scope, goals, schedules, budget estimates, and resource needs to support successful delivery.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, then measure progress against approved baselines.
• Guide execution activities and make sure milestones and deliverables are completed within the agreed scope, cost, quality, and time targets.
• Spot, evaluate, and actively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project.
• Follow governance controls, stage-gate reviews, and approval steps.
• Oversee project budgets, monitor spending, and use resources efficiently.
• Work with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to keep collaboration and delivery on track.
• Prepare and deliver project updates, financial summaries, and performance reports to management and governance bodies.
• Lead change management activities tied to the project to help with adoption and business readiness.
• Track project health and take corrective action when delivery starts to drift from the plan.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, MIS, or another relevant discipline.
• PMP certification is mandatory.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in a related role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
