Role overview
Fortray Global Service Limited is hiring an organized, proactive Project Management Assistant to help drive projects through planning, coordination, and execution across several teams. This is an entry-level opportunity suited to recent graduates who want to begin a career in project management. In this role, you will support Project Managers with scheduling, documentation, reporting, and day-to-day communication while building practical experience in project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support to Project Managers.
- Keep project records, schedules, and progress tracking tools up to date.
- Arrange meetings, draft agendas, and capture clear meeting notes.
- Monitor milestones, due dates, and deliverables to keep work on track.
- Prepare status updates and share progress information with stakeholders.
- Track assigned actions and follow up on unfinished tasks.
- Support the preparation of project plans, presentations, and reports.
- Organize project files and maintain documentation in an orderly manner.
- Assist with risk logs, issue tracking, and change request records.
- Work with different teams to help ensure projects run smoothly.
- Make sure project documents follow company procedures and standards.
- Handle additional project-related administrative work as needed.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Suitable for recent graduates.
- Strong skills in organizing work and managing time effectively.
- Clear written and spoken communication abilities.
- Good attention to detail along with sound problem-solving skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in learning project management methods and tools.
Preferred skills
A basic understanding of project management concepts is helpful. Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp is an advantage. Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall approaches is also a plus. Experience from academic projects, internships, or student leadership roles will be beneficial.
