Processing Officer

About the role

This permanent full-time Processing Officer position is based in Hamilton, Waikato, at the Hamilton Operations Centre. The role sits within a busy parcel and freight processing environment, where the focus is on preparing items for courier delivery across New Zealand. Working as part of a collaborative and diverse team, you will help keep goods moving efficiently through the network.

Pay and schedule

• Hourly pay is $26.75, plus a night shift allowance of $3.29 per hour until 6:00am.
• Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00pm to 5:30am.
• The workplace address is 1 Earthmover Crescent, Hamilton.

In this position, you will be part of the team that sorts, consolidates, and dispatches parcels and freight so they are ready for courier collection and delivery. The work supports the broader mission of moving items reliably across Aotearoa and contributes to the growth of the business.

About you

The ideal candidate can commit to the overnight Monday-to-Friday schedule and is comfortable with physically active work. Previous night-shift experience is an advantage. You will also need dependable transport to arrive on time, a strong team mindset, attention to detail, and good geographical awareness. The work may involve lifting items of up to 25 kg.
