Role overview
This position is focused on strengthening cyber defence through hands-on offensive security work. The role involves building and running penetration testing initiatives, supporting security exercises, and turning technical findings into clear actions for stakeholders.
Key work areas
- Develop, plan, and execute penetration testing programmes from concept through delivery.
- Investigate adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures to improve current methods, processes, and tools.
- Take part in cybersecurity exercises and contribute to their execution.
- Create realistic attack scenarios for exercises and testing activities.
- Carry out penetration tests while coordinating closely with asset owners.
- Prepare written reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Required background
- A qualification in Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline is expected.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in information security is required.
- OSCP certification, or a comparable certification, is required.
- Experience with networking and cloud technologies will be considered an advantage.
- The candidate should be analytical, resilient, and comfortable with challenging work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are important for this role.
