About the role

Join Larsen & Toubro’s Organisation Development & Effectiveness function, where the focus is on strengthening learning and development across the business. This position supports location-level learning initiatives with an emphasis on behavioural and leadership development. The selected professional will help ensure training initiatives are closely aligned with business priorities and are relevant for employees across levels.

What you will do

  • Lead the planning and execution of behavioural and soft-skills programs for middle and senior management.
  • Oversee training operations at the location, covering everything from planning and vendor coordination to post-program effectiveness review.
  • Prepare quarterly learning calendars and deliver workshops according to plan so that key learning targets are met.
  • Develop supporting learning content such as manuals, digital learning modules, and instructional videos.
  • Coordinate with internal and external subject matter experts to deliver workshops smoothly.
  • Act as an internal learning advisor, partnering with business leaders to design interventions for specific business issues.
  • Build post-training impact reports with diagnosis, business outcomes, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Collaborate with the OD team to connect leadership programs and independently manage at least one OD project.
  • Handle internal, external, surveillance, and client audits while maintaining full process compliance and avoiding non-conformities.
  • Manage the learning and development budget efficiently and ensure resources are used effectively.
  • Strengthen relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, including senior leaders, department heads, and employees, so training solutions meet business needs.

Criteria

  • Applicants should have 5 to 10 years of experience.
  • Preferred work locations include Bangalore, Mumbai, or Mysuru.
  • A full-time MBA in HR is preferred, or candidates may apply if they are certified trainers with a graduate or postgraduate qualification.
  • Candidates must have delivered behavioural training sessions previously.
