Role Overview
As an Optometrist in the Blenheim store, you will work with advanced diagnostic equipment and provide tailored eye care that supports each customer’s lifestyle. The role combines clinical expertise with customer-focused service to help identify the right vision solutions.
Key Responsibilities
You will carry out eye examinations across a wide range of appointment types, recommend suitable lens solutions, explain lens features and benefits clearly, and support the development of Graduate Optometrists. You will also collaborate with the Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to improve eye-care revenue, including technology use, optometry labour efficiency, and appropriate Medicare billing.
Technology and Clinical Tools
The store uses world-class equipment such as a retinal camera, visual field analyser, non-contact tonometer, corneal topographer, Optos UWDRS, and OCT.
