Role Overview

Stranger Soccer is expanding into major cities across the world, and Auckland is next on the list. The company is looking for an Operator and License Owner who will establish, run, and develop the Stranger Soccer brand locally.

This is not a standard employment role. It is designed for someone who wants to build and manage their own venture, create meaningful local impact, and help make football easier to access in Auckland.

What the Role Involves

In this position, you will take responsibility for launching and scaling Stranger Soccer in Auckland. You will handle daily operations and work to create a strong, active football community around the brand.

The opportunity is intended for a hands-on operator with an ownership mindset, strong drive, and a focus on measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and expand Stranger Soccer’s presence in Auckland
• Build and maintain relationships with football venues and partners
• Hire, train, and oversee game hosts and part-time team members
• Increase player numbers through creative marketing and community outreach
• Deliver a reliable, high-quality game experience that encourages repeat play
• Keep improving operations and support scaling efforts

Support Provided

You will be backed by the headquarters team in Singapore, which offers access to the technology platform, including the app, payment system, and automation tools, along with a proven operating model and ongoing support for operations and marketing.

Ideal Candidate

The company is looking for someone who loves football, understands the local market, and brings an entrepreneurial approach. The right person should be proactive, comfortable taking responsibility, and motivated by results.

Relevant background in operations, events, community development, or a similar field is preferred. Strong communication and people-management abilities are also important.
