Operations & Maintenance Lead

Role overview

Meta is hiring an Operations & Maintenance Lead to support the Data Center Facility Operations team in Clonee, County Meath, Ireland. This position focuses on keeping the data center running reliably through maintenance planning, asset oversight, documentation control, and adherence to operational standards.

Data centers are a core part of the infrastructure that supports Meta’s products and services. In this role, you will work closely with the wider Infrastructure Data Centers organization to coordinate maintenance and operations work across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee assets across their full lifecycle and keep master data accurate and up to date.
• Build campus-wide maintenance plans in the Enterprise Asset Management system using the global maintenance library requirements.
• Act as the local administrator for the EAM platform and the main contact for the centralized support team.
• Help drive compliance with operational standards and site procedures.
• Coordinate the creation, review, and approval of operating procedures.
• Track corrective actions at the campus level and make sure tasks are assigned and closed on time.
• Partner with operational and technical teams to plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Watch maintenance schedules and work-management metrics to ensure compliance windows are met.
• Work with central teams to manage spare parts.
• Train users and maintain data quality in the Hexagon EAM tool.
• Support audits from external regulatory bodies such as SOX and ISO.
• Coordinate with construction partners so asset tags and equipment attributes are captured correctly and match documented requirements.
• Review performance and maintenance data to spot patterns and apply continuous improvement measures.
• Lead optimization efforts that improve equipment reliability, site performance, and operational efficiency.

Minimum qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in an operations and maintenance environment or a similar industry.
• Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools.
• Understanding of SOPs, MOPs, and how they connect to work orders.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise asset management and maintenance management software.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and life-safety monitoring and control systems.
• Ability to coordinate with teams and influence execution of shared plans and activities.

Preferred qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in operations and maintenance or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a critical operations environment.
• 4+ years of experience planning and scheduling maintenance for large, complex systems.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with Hexagon Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
