Night Porter

Role overview

The Maritime Hotel in Bantry, County Cork is looking for a full-time Night Porter to join its welcoming team. This is a guest-facing position that helps keep hotel operations running smoothly overnight. The role includes weekend shifts and may also involve occasional daytime cover when needed.

Location

The job is based at The Quay, Bantry, County Cork, Ireland.

Key duties

• Deliver prompt, courteous, and practical support to guests throughout the night.
• Help guests with luggage, local directions, and general questions.
• Handle check-ins, check-outs, and other overnight front desk tasks.
• Assist with guest requirements in the lobby, including transport arrangements and amenities.
• Maintain the safety and security of the property and guests during night hours.

Working pattern

This is a full-time, onsite position. Weekend availability is required, and occasional daytime shifts may be part of the schedule.

Compensation
