Mixing Technician

Role overview

The Mixing Technician is responsible for preparing, measuring, and combining raw materials according to exact formulas and quality requirements. The position focuses on producing consistent, high-quality output while working efficiently and safely throughout the mixing cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Weigh and prepare raw materials based on product formulas and specifications.
• Run mixing machinery to combine ingredients with accuracy and efficiency.
• Track the blending process to keep product consistency and quality within required standards.
• Carry out quality inspections and adjust the mix when needed to meet specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of material consumption, batch numbers, and other traceability data.
• Keep the work area organized, clean, and compliant with safety rules and company procedures.
• Identify and help resolve issues with equipment or materials, and escalate breakdowns to the supervisor.
• Support stock control by monitoring raw material levels and flagging replenishment needs.
• Contribute to process improvements, waste reduction efforts, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Handle additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification; extra training or certification in a relevant field is considered an advantage.
• Prior hands-on experience as a Mixing Technician or in a comparable manufacturing/production role.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to diagnose and solve mixing or equipment-related issues effectively.
• Capable of collaborating well with team members in a production environment.
• High attention to detail and the discipline to follow precise instructions and formulas.
• Working knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a demanding environment.
• Factory experience is required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional related training or certification is a plus.

Experience

Experience working as a Mixing Technician or in a similar manufacturing role is expected.

Language skills

Arabic and English communication skills are required.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
