Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer position in Singapore. The role focuses on designing, reviewing, and improving ACMV and process systems, including chiller plants, air handling systems, ventilation networks, and related mechanical installations.

Key Duties

The position includes preparing and revising CAD drawings, carrying out load calculations, choosing suitable equipment, and supporting the design of clean room and stainless-steel piping systems. You will also work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to keep delivery aligned with project scope, timelines, and quality expectations.

Additional responsibilities include joining site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities, maintaining technical documentation, assisting with troubleshooting, and contributing to research, development, and ongoing improvement efforts for existing systems.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should have a strong grounding in Mechanical Engineering and a solid understanding of ACMV systems and mechanical design concepts. A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, is required.

Experience in building services, HVAC/ACMV, process systems, or clean room projects will be an advantage. The role also calls for the ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, interpret technical specifications, and work in line with applicable regulatory requirements.

Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and a careful approach to safety, quality, and compliance are important. Good communication and teamwork skills are needed for coordination with internal teams, clients, and contractors. Candidates should also be comfortable working on-site, attending inspections, and adapting to project-based schedules.
