M&E Designer/ Drafter

Role overview

The M&E Designer/Drafter will be responsible for producing accurate mechanical and electrical drafting work for a Singapore-based role. The position involves creating detailed CAD models and drawings, supporting coordination across disciplines, and keeping project documentation current and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models as well as 2D detail, shop, and as-built drawings in line with the required drafting standards.
• Support the coordination of M&E drawings with structural, architectural, landscape, and interior design disciplines.
• Work on drawings independently and carry out self-checks before any submission.
• Keep drawings and related documentation updated and properly maintained.
• Communicate ideas, questions, and project issues clearly with the team, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D AutoCAD, with added advantage for Revit and BIM-related tools.
• Understanding of local building regulations.
• Knowledge of local submission processes and requirements.
• Exposure to ISO standards and drafting practices.
• Ability to work independently, stay self-driven, handle pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
