Manual QA Tester

Role overview

Arcane Pathways is hiring a detail-oriented QA professional to lead manual testing for its mobile products. The work centers on helping improve digital credit experiences by finding defects early and ensuring users get a smooth, dependable app experience.

What you will handle

• Own the manual QA process for the company’s mobile applications from planning through execution.
• Test both cross-platform and native apps developed with Flutter and Swift.
• Build test strategies, testing playbooks, and test cases without relying on pre-existing materials.
• Run full end-to-end manual test cycles, identify failures and unusual scenarios, and verify product quality before release.

Experience and technical expectations

• At least 5 years of hands-on QA experience focused on mobile products, including iOS and Android.
• Strong background in testing Flutter applications and native iOS apps.
• Practical experience working with mock servers or API mocking tools.
• Ability to test difficult scenarios, including failed flows, edge cases, and bug isolation.
• Solid understanding of mobile interruptions such as network loss, app backgrounding, and similar conditions.
• Comfort using native debugging utilities and log analysis tools.
• Working knowledge of app distribution and release pipelines.
• Awareness of security and privacy considerations in mobile testing.
