Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is building a landmark entertainment, sports, and culture destination in Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030. The organization is looking for a driven professional to help strengthen operational performance, improve controls, support compliance, and reduce risk across business functions.

This position focuses on continuous operational audit coverage for Six Flags, Aquarabia parks, and other operational infrastructure assets. The role partners with internal audit teams and outside consultants to deliver ongoing audit work, feed risk insights into management reporting, and support the annual risk-based audit plan with on-the-ground operational intelligence.

What the role covers

The Manager - Operations Audit leads audit activity across operational controls, HSE compliance, safety systems, maintenance oversight, and broader process effectiveness. The role is hands-on, field-based, and requires translating observations into clear findings and actionable recommendations.

Audit and risk activities

• Run an ongoing audit program across Six Flags, Aquarabia, and other operational infrastructure assets, with attention to control design, HSE requirements, safety management systems, maintenance governance, and operational process performance.
• Work closely with internal auditors and external consultants to keep coverage aligned, methodology consistent, and delivery efficient across all assigned entities.
• Carry out fieldwork through site visits, walkthroughs, document examination, and stakeholder discussions to identify control weaknesses, compliance issues, and operational exposures, then convert them into evidence-based, risk-ranked findings and practical fixes.
• Evaluate HSE governance, regulatory adherence, hazard identification practices, and operational safety controls, including ride safety, maintenance procedures, emergency readiness, and incident handling.
• Prepare concise audit reports and regular status updates for the Senior Manager, and present findings and recommendations to operational leaders in a constructive and professional way.
• Monitor agreed management actions and maintain an up-to-date view of open issues to support timely remediation across the continuous audit program.

Requirements and qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, preferably in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field. The role calls for more than 7 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety and Environment programs, HSE audits, emergency drills, and HSE-related events.

Professional audit and occupational health and safety certifications, including risk-related certifications, are preferred.
