Junior Designer

Role overview

WatchHouse is looking for a Junior Designer to help translate brand ideas into polished creative output. In this role, you will work closely with the Creative Designer and Marketing team to develop campaign materials that align with the company’s design-led identity. The position focuses on turning concepts into production-ready assets and keeping output consistent across print and digital channels while meeting deadlines.

You will also support artwork development and execution for print, digital, and internal use, while maintaining organised asset libraries so campaigns and brand materials can be rolled out smoothly.

The role reports to the Creative Designer.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of monthly launch print collateral and print portal activity, including artwork production, revisions, approvals, and distribution across houses.
• Ensure printed items are accurate, delivered on schedule, and aligned with brand guidelines, while serving as the main contact for print-led work.
• Convert creative ideas and campaign concepts into design outputs for digital, print, and in-venue use, keeping the visual language consistent with the brand.
• Produce engaging artwork and visuals for email marketing, paid social, app communications, website assets, POS, menus, social content, and paid advertising.
• Design and build email campaigns based on briefs from the ecommerce team.
• Maintain a central library of brand assets, keeping files easy to find, accurate, and consistently applied across teams.
• Support visual merchandising standards across houses.
• Create design materials for internal communications, investor packs, and leadership presentations.
• Help protect brand consistency across all channels and ensure every output remains aligned with the WatchHouse identity.

What you need

• At least 2 years of experience in a design role, with hands-on exposure to both print and digital work.
• Strong communication skills for internal stakeholders and external business-to-business interactions.
• Confident use of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; experience with Figma is helpful but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge of motion design tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar software.
• Excellent attention to detail and disciplined file organisation.
• Understanding of production workflows for both print and digital deliverables.
• Ability to manage work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
• A flexible, collaborative approach with a strong sense of consistency and brand application.
• Capability to handle brand-related issues with care, judgement, and sound decision-making.
