Role overview
This contract opportunity is for an IT Services Administrator based in Dublin. The role supports the coordination and review of a range of IT service activities, including helpdesk operations, asset management, and IT audits.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the IT service management platform and use it to register, allocate, follow up, close, and evaluate helpdesk requests, incidents, problems, and changes.
- Stay in contact with both internal teams and external users, keeping them updated on progress and confirming that issues have been resolved to their satisfaction.
- Prepare regular statistical reports covering requests, incidents, problems, and changes.
- Monitor incoming emails and system alerts and create incident records when needed.
Experience and skills needed
- At least 2 years of experience in a service desk environment, ideally within a corporate setting.
- Working knowledge of ITIL principles and practices.
- Proven ability to juggle several priorities, manage incoming requests, and remain effective in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
