Overview

This opportunity is for a contract Human Resources Generalist who can perform well in a fast-moving setting and needs little oversight. The role suits an HR professional who is comfortable making sound judgments, resolving issues on their own, and acting as a reliable partner to managers across the business.

Key responsibilities

Support hiring activities, new-hire onboarding, and employee retention efforts.
Help ensure the organization follows applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Manage HR programs, policies, procedures, and employee-facing communications.
Keep HR information system records accurate and prepare reports that inform business decisions.
Contribute to learning programs, employee engagement efforts, and organizational development work.
Look for ways to improve processes and put effective HR practices into place.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
