Role Overview
This is a permanent full-time housekeeping role at Aspire Heatherwood Retirement Residence in St. Catharines, Ontario. The hourly pay rate is $19.09. This opening is for an existing vacancy.
Schedule
The position includes 10 shifts every two weeks and requires weekend availability. The schedule is organized as follows: Week 1 includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday; Week 2 includes Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Working hours are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

What the Role Involves
As a Housekeeping Aide, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. You will work in a busy setting and contribute to the overall culture of the home by supporting residents’ daily well-being.
Key Duties
- Carry out a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot-cleaning walls, windows, and doors.
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and shared spaces according to assigned routines and procedures.
- Prepare rooms for new residents so they are clean, inviting, and ready to show at all times.
- Respect resident privacy and maintain professionalism while working in occupied living areas.
- Contribute positively to a team environment while supporting the quality of life of older adults.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience is required.
- Candidates must be legally allowed to work in Canada or hold a valid work/study permit.
- A successful Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check are required.
