House Driver

Role Overview

The House Driver is entrusted with the safe and dependable movement of the principals, family members, household staff, and guests. This position also covers upkeep of the assigned vehicles, adherence to road safety rules, and support with day-to-day household logistics. A strong sense of discretion, professionalism, and privacy is essential.

Transportation Duties

• Drive family members, guests, and household employees to the required destinations in a safe and timely manner.
• Manage punctual travel for school drop-offs and pick-ups, appointments, airport trips, meetings, shopping visits, and social engagements.
• Choose practical routes based on traffic flow and daily schedules.
• Remain polite, composed, and discreet while on duty.

Vehicle Care and Maintenance

• Keep the assigned vehicles clean, fueled, and in good presentation at all times.
• Perform daily checks on key vehicle components, including engine oil, tyre pressure, brakes, lights, battery, and coolant.
• Schedule and follow up on regular servicing, repairs, and inspections.
• Keep clear records of maintenance and service activities.
• Report any mechanical issue, damage, or accident without delay.

Household Errands and Support

• Handle household errands such as buying groceries and household supplies.
• Collect and deliver documents as needed.
• Assist with banking-related errands.
• Pick up and drop off parcels and deliveries.
• Support transport and logistics arrangements for household events.
• Help with luggage handling during travel.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow all applicable local traffic laws and regulations at all times.
• Keep a valid driving licence in force.
• Use defensive driving practices.
• Make sure insurance, registration, and any required permits remain up to date.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety equipment inside the vehicle.

Confidentiality

• Protect the family’s personal, financial, and business information with complete discretion.
• Exercise care and privacy when transporting principals and guests.
• Safeguard household security and sensitive information.

Working Conditions

• Flexibility is required for evenings, weekends, and public holidays when needed.
• Support the House Manager with transport planning.
• Arrange airport pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Stay in communication about timings, changes, and schedule updates.

Compensation

The role offers a monthly salary in the range of QAR 1,500 to QAR 1,800.
