Role overview

COCO Dubai is looking for a full-time, on-site Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is focused on creating a warm welcome, keeping front-of-house operations organized, and helping the venue maintain a smooth guest journey from arrival to seating.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests courteously as they arrive and create a positive first impression.
• Track the waiting list and manage guest flow to keep seating efficient and orderly.
• Coordinate table assignments and support smooth seating arrangements across the venue.
• Handle reservation-related tasks and keep booking details accurate and up to date.
• Respond to phone calls professionally and provide clear assistance to callers.
• Work closely with the service team to ensure tables are prepared and guest service runs smoothly.
• Share information about menu items and venue offerings when asked.
• Address guest requests promptly and with a helpful, solution-focused approach.
• Maintain a polished, professional, and welcoming presence at the reception or entrance area.

Qualifications and experience

• Strong people skills and a naturally friendly, approachable manner are essential.
• Experience or capability in managing reservations, booking records, and seating plans is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are needed for guest and team interaction.
• A strong customer service mindset with attention to guest satisfaction is important.
• Comfortable phone etiquette, including polite greetings and efficient call handling, is expected.
• Previous front-of-house or hospitality experience is an added advantage.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.
• A neat, professional appearance is required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is beneficial.
