Financial Analyst

Role overview

A growing financial services company is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its finance function in Boca Raton, FL. This position will contribute to financial reporting, management reporting, and business analysis while working closely with teams across the organization. It offers meaningful exposure to leadership and the chance to help improve reporting, strengthen business insights, and support financial planning efforts.

What you'll do

• Build recurring financial reports, management dashboards, and performance reporting packs.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including variance review and business performance analysis.
• Help create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility into core business metrics.
• Examine financial and operational data to spot trends and generate actionable insights.
• Work with operations, sales, and other departments to meet reporting and analysis needs.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning activities.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects for finance leaders and senior management.
• Assist in developing executive presentations and management reporting materials.
• Identify ways to improve reporting workflows, data quality, and efficiency.
• Use business intelligence and reporting tools to make data easier to access and support better decisions.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a similar field.
• About 2 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting, FP&A, or another analytical role.
• Advanced Excel capability and comfort working with large datasets.
• Exposure to reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of financial statements and core financial analysis concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience in financial services, lending, banking, or other data-intensive industries is useful but not mandatory.
