Role overview
An established organization is looking for an Executive Assistant / Team Coordinator to support a group of investment professionals in Houston, Texas. This position focuses on advanced administrative coordination, keeping schedules aligned, travel organized, meetings prepared, and expense processes accurate in a busy, fast-moving setting.
What you'll do
- Provide day-to-day executive and administrative support to a team of investment professionals.
- Maintain complex calendars, stay ahead of scheduling conflicts, and prepare for meetings in advance.
- Arrange both domestic and international travel, including itineraries, agendas, directions, and supporting backup materials.
- Plan and coordinate meetings and executive events, making sure rooms, equipment, and hospitality needs are covered.
- Offer backup support and collaborative assistance to help maintain smooth team coverage.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience supporting executives; a college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior exposure to the financial sector is strongly preferred.
- Strong written communication ability along with solid research skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Concur Expense Solutions is a plus.
- Must be able to handle confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion.
