Role Overview

This position is for a certified diver who meets the required training standards and is able to complete underwater work such as inspecting, repairing, removing, or installing equipment and structures. The job also involves using power and hand tools underwater, carrying out tests, and performing industrial photography while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.

Job-Specific Accountabilities

• Follow instructions issued by the Diving Supervisor and Lead Diver.
• Take part in daily toolbox talks to understand the work scope, spot potential hazards, and help reduce safety risks.
• Review task risk assessments before any activity begins.
• Check diving equipment personally before each dive.
• Act as a standby diver and support any diver who encounters difficulty during a dive.
• Hold a valid approved diving medical certificate and disclose any medication being taken to the supervisor.
• Maintain a daily diver logbook and keep records for a minimum of two years.
• Notify the diving supervisor immediately if you are not fit to perform diving duties safely.
• Participate in emergency drills and contribute first-line emergency response support as part of the team.
• Share experience and practical knowledge to help improve team capability and performance.

• Follow all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
• Help deliver the company’s performance objectives within the established performance framework.
• Develop and apply tools and techniques that improve operational processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and propose practical, effective solutions.
• Adhere to HSE policies, procedures, and controls aligned with international standards and best practices.
• Prepare inputs for management information systems and progress reporting for company leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of diver training leading to an IMCA-recognized air diving qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in general diving operations.
• Experience in inspection and maintenance of single buoy moorings (SBM) is considered an advantage.
