The Dispatcher role is responsible for coordinating transportation for participants and prospective enrollees while also helping ensure vehicle safety and operational reliability.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Build and maintain daily transportation schedules, making adjustments for cancellations, additional rides, and urgent requests.
• Carry out active dispatching to support day-to-day transportation operations.
• Keep a daily call log for tracking operations and communication.
• Monitor HUB inquiries and respond to operational requests in a timely manner.
• Revise schedules when Direct Line changes or updates come in.
• Document cancellations and no-shows promptly and inform the clinic team about missed appointments.
• Provide dispatch support on weekends when required.

Compensation and benefits

The compensation package includes base pay plus bonus. The posted pay range is $23 to $27.27 per hour. WelbeHealth also offers a total rewards package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 17 days of PTO, 12 paid holidays each year, 6 sick days, a 401(k) with company match, and other benefits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; related professional experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• At least 4 years of experience in a public or private transportation environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a dispatcher role.
• Current valid state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Participation in DMV pull notice and random alcohol and controlled-substances testing programs.
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check and a DOT physical exam.
• Must remain eligible to drive under WelbeHealth’s commercial auto insurance policy; applicants are generally expected to be at least 25 years old, candidates ages 23–24 may be considered depending on driving history and underwriting criteria, and drivers over 70 may need to provide current medical certification.

Additional information

WelbeHealth uses a vaccination policy for all employees. Before employment begins, selected candidates must provide proof of vaccination or a vaccine declination form. The organization also maintains infection-control and PPE standards and applies vaccination-related requirements to all team members.
