Digital Engineering Technician

Role overview

ConsultANZ is hiring a Digital Engineering Technician for a major civil road and bridge project in Wellington. This position sits within a civil infrastructure team working across a significant roading and bridge program, with a focus on digital support throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with design coordination across the project.
• Create and maintain 3D models to support construction delivery.
• Update digital models using as-built survey information after construction.
• Check designs for buildability and quality assurance purposes.
• Support modelling work related to services and utilities.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on experience with 12d software.
• Background in surveying or design is preferred.
• Practical experience in services and utilities modelling.
• Ability to assess designs for constructability and QA.
• Strong coordination skills and close attention to detail.
• Experience updating 3D models based on as-built survey data.
