About the Role
Faurecia India Private Limited is looking for a Deputy Program Manager to assist with the end-to-end coordination of assigned programs in Pune. The role centers on program planning, tracking, documentation, cross-functional follow-up, and ensuring that launch activities stay aligned with internal governance, customer expectations, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Program Manager to plan, execute, and track the progress of assigned programs.
- Build, maintain, and refresh program plans, timelines, dashboards, and regular status updates.
- Take part in program review discussions and communicate project progress, risks, and action plans.
- Keep program records current, including the Business Plan, Program Dashboard, launch reports, KPI trackers, and risk/opportunity assessments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to help deliver milestones on time.
- Assist in preparing the initial business plan together with Program Controllers.
- Follow prototype progress, validation steps, and delivery timelines.
- Make sure program management procedures and internal governance requirements are followed.
- Organize project files and records to support continuity and knowledge retention.
- Track compliance with customer quality expectations, HSE standards, safety rules, and applicable regulations.
- Spot project risks, support mitigation actions, and help close issues quickly.
- Work with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance, and Customer teams across the full project lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
The preferred background includes 4 to 8 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Product Development, or Automotive Manufacturing. Experience with an Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier is an advantage, and exposure to New Product Development and program launch management is desirable.
Education
Applicants should hold a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
