Data Scientist+ GCP

Overview

We are looking for a GCP-focused Data Scientist to work in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru. The role involves building forecasting and AI/ML solutions, improving model performance, and turning business needs into scalable technical implementations. Key Responsibilities

This role combines model development, cloud deployment, and stakeholder collaboration. You will be expected to work with complex assignments under limited supervision, apply detailed knowledge of processes and systems, and resolve problems that may require evaluating multiple possible solutions.

• Build and deploy forecasting models to estimate demand, supply, and operational results.
• Strengthen model performance using statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Develop AI/ML solutions on Google Cloud Platform using tools such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, and related services.
• Use GenAI and agentic AI methods to improve automation and support business decision-making.
• Carry out data preparation, feature engineering, and model testing/evaluation.
• Share findings and recommendations clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experiment with prototypes and enhance existing solutions where needed.
• Provide service and product support for treasury management users through phone and email, as applicable to the assignment.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex issues by selecting from multiple non-standard solution paths.
• Prioritize service-related issues to achieve first-call resolution whenever possible.
• Keep current on products, services, internal systems, technologies, policies, and procedures.
• Take actions to reduce risk by enabling or disabling high-risk product services and by flagging potential fraud or suspicious activity.
