ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
About the Company
The Good Golf Company operates and manages an expanding group of golf clubs across the UK. The business is creating a modern, member-focused support model that preserves the feel of traditional clubs while delivering a more connected and professional service across every location.
As the company expands, member support and booking activity are being brought together into one central, high-quality team. This role is a key part of that team and serves as the first contact point for members, visitors, and event organisers across the group.
Role Overview
In this position, you will manage everyday customer and member communication for several golf clubs from a central remote setup. You may also work with club teams, assist with training, complete administrative tasks, and provide general support to staff and members.
Most of your day will involve handling enquiries by phone and email, supporting society and event bookings, helping new members join, and keeping communication and administration moving smoothly across the organisation.
The role requires a calm and considerate approach, especially when working with people who are less confident using technology. Speed, clarity, and a genuinely helpful attitude are essential.
This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the UK. You should be comfortable using technology, quick to learn new systems, and open to supporting the introduction of new tools and workflows. Experience using AI in daily work to improve efficiency would be a strong advantage.
Working Hours and Compensation
This is a full-time role with working hours from 8am to 4pm. The salary is described as competitive.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for member and customer enquiries across multiple golf clubs through phone and email.
- Manage society, group, and event booking enquiries from the initial request through to final confirmation.
- Guide new members through the sign-up process from start to finish.
- Answer member questions, concerns, and complaints quickly, fairly, and with a courteous tone.
- Oversee daily correspondence, communication, and general administration for the group.
- Support customers who are less comfortable with technology by patiently explaining systems and steps.
- Maintain accurate records in booking, membership, and communication tools.
- Ensure every enquiry receives a prompt, clear, and useful response.
- Collaborate with on-site club teams to resolve issues and keep information aligned across locations.
About You
You should be naturally friendly, patient, and supportive, particularly when helping customers who may struggle with digital tools. Strong communication skills are important, along with the ability to stay organised, work independently, and handle multiple queries at once.
Successful candidates will be quick to pick up new systems, confident with typing and digital tools, and able to maintain a calm, positive approach when dealing with complaints or solving problems. A background in customer service, administration, bookings, or a multi-site membership or hospitality environment would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
No golf industry experience is required. What matters most is a strong service mindset, a willingness to learn, and the right attitude.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to help build a central member services team as the business grows, with potential to take on team leadership responsibilities in future.
- Fully remote work from anywhere in the UK.
- Free golf membership for you or your partner at the company’s clubs.
- Flexible working arrangements to help accommodate childcare responsibilities.
