Tameed operates as the first debt-based crowd-lending platform focused on purchase order financing and is licensed by the Saudi Central Bank. The company is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Role Overview
This position is responsible for helping the organization stay aligned with SAMA regulations, strengthening internal policy adherence, and supporting compliance reporting, document control, and regulatory coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the company’s activities to ensure they comply with the rules and regulations set by SAMA.
- Keep employees and stakeholders informed about SAMA circulars and follow up on required actions.
- Prepare, revise, and maintain the policies needed for day-to-day compliance governance.
- Ensure employees follow internal policies and established procedures.
- Prepare compliance reports for the board and board committees whenever needed.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external regulatory authorities.
- Participate in board committee meetings and executive meetings.
- Deliver policy awareness and compliance training to employees.
- Track required documents continuously and ensure follow-up on missing items.
- Assist the AML team with compliance-related support.
- Handle document filing and archiving.
- Carry out tasks assigned by the direct manager that fall within the role’s scope.
- Maintain organized records and documentation.
- Support compliance monitoring and management reporting activities.
- Review compliance gaps and suggest improvements to governance frameworks.
- Perform compliance checks and internal reviews across departments to confirm alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain close communication with relevant regulators.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in law is required.
- Strong understanding of SAMA laws and regulations related to financing companies.
- Ability to draft contracts professionally.
- Good communication skills, sound legal and ethical judgment, analytical thinking, and strong overall capability.
- Experience using Google Workspace tools.
- Strong command of the English language.
Working Hours and Benefits
- This is a full-time position.
- Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Employees receive 30 days of annual leave.
