About the Role
This position is for a quota-carrying sales professional focused on expanding Salesforce’s Employee Service offerings, which bring together HR Service and IT Service capabilities on a unified AI-powered platform. The role is part of the Emerging Business team and is based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.
You will help organizations strengthen employee experience, improve HR operations, and enhance IT service delivery by selling solutions such as the Employee Portal, HR Service Console, prebuilt integrations, and ITSM/ITOM capabilities.
The role involves both growing business within Salesforce’s existing customer base and winning new customers, while working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment that supports product incubation and innovation.
What You Will Do
- Build and run a scalable sales approach within your assigned vertical.
- Create new opportunities through prospecting and pipeline development.
- Handle medium- to long-length sales cycles for complex, high-value opportunities.
- Drive revenue by closing new deals and expanding existing accounts.
- Develop targeted sales initiatives around employee service transformation across HR and IT.
- Position the value of HR Service and IT Service/ITSM solutions to prospective customers.
- Work with stakeholders in HR, IT, and operations to uncover business problems and shape tailored solutions.
- Support core account executives on strategic opportunities by qualifying leads and keeping the pipeline healthy.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM records.
- Partner with solution engineers, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Strengthen internal and customer relationships to create mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Support customer satisfaction for both early adopters and expansion accounts.
What We’re Looking For
- Background in quota-carrying enterprise software or technology sales, ideally in SaaS, employee experience, HR service management, ITSM, or ITOM.
- Hands-on experience with solution selling and value-led selling across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of ITSM platforms, IT operations, and the ITIL framework.
- Exposure to HR technology, employee experience platforms, and HCM systems such as Workday is an advantage.
- Consultative selling ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-party sales processes effectively.
- Commercial awareness to explain return on investment across HR, IT, and operational scenarios.
- Confidence in objection handling, negotiation, and closing large deals.
- Resourceful problem-solving and a competitive mindset.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
