Role Overview

As a Calibration Coordinator within the Cork-based Calibration Team, you will support the day-to-day coordination of calibration-related work, vendors, documentation, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange and manage all vendor attendance, both on site and off site.
  • Liaise with external third-party suppliers and service providers.
  • Ensure work orders are completed in the CMMS system within required timelines and in line with compliance standards.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving activities for the calibration function.
  • Prepare release records through the CMRS process when required.
  • Act as the main contact for internal LotusWorks audits.
  • Complete SLMS and all assigned training obligations on schedule.
  • Request and manage quotes, and coordinate logistics so equipment arrives on time.
  • Track calibration certification and related records and paperwork.
  • Create purchase orders for calibration activities where needed.
  • Monitor and maintain required spare-parts stock levels.
  • Take part in meetings and provide updates on calibration planning and progress.
  • Organize and control documents in line with GAMP and FDA requirements.
  • Work with utilities teams when needed to support calibration tasks.
  • Help design and improve systems for scheduling and recording calibration work.
  • Support basic calibration tasks as required.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas while following EHSQ and quality standards.
  • Contribute to improvement projects and ongoing operational enhancements.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned as part of the role.

Skills and Requirements

  • Working knowledge of calibration processes and calibration systems.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Windows and Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational ability with solid interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A relevant degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Approximately 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
